The school in this town had very basic equipment. Naked has been working in collaboration with the community, who donated the land, to construct and install the computer lab. The lab has approximately 30 computers with printers and internet access. This lab will significantly improve the learning experience and the ability for youth to obtain computer-based jobs.
Joel Primus, President of Naked Brand, states, "I am very thankful to have the opportunity through Naked Brand Group to make a difference for the children of Ghana. Each computer lab we are able to install gives hundreds of youth the opportunity to learn valuable computer skills and take part in a global community."
Joel Primus goes on to say, "I would also like to thank a number of companies who enabled us to increase our overall donation through their generosity. Naked would like to thank NRI for facilitating the transfer of the computer equipment from Canada to Ghana. Naked would also like to thank Clark Wilson, Meyers Norse Penny, customers and retail partners for their computer equipment donations," concluded Joel Primus.
